Understanding Cuesport Structures
Pool South Africa is the controlling body of 8 Ball in South Africa. Affiliated to its mother body World Eightball Pool Federation (WEPF) which host its World Championship in UK England annually.
PSA is a member in good standing with SACCS which provides government funding towards players representing South Africa internationally.

As a cue sport fanatic it is of outmost importance that you register with the correct structures. Such affiliation brings benefit for your sport to be internationally recognized, qualify for government funding and for players to achieve official protea colors.
Its this affiliation that will grow the sport as a unit.
Established 2021 Blackball South Africa is currently the controlling body of blackball in South Africa. A member of the South African Pool Union (SAPU) which is a member of AAPA (All Africa Pool Association. AAPA is the controlling body of pool in Africa and enjoys recognition from the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA). WPA is a member of the world body of cue sports WCBS, the world governing body for the Billiards Sports of Carom, Pool and Snooker.
As a player joining a league in your local area you simple register with WCBS and you will have opportunity to represent your country at the Blackball World Championship.

Browse through our venues and see what cue sport disciplines are available at the venue and simply choose your club from there. Once a member you get to chat with other cue sport fanatics and request to join their club right here from this site.
